As a child I recall countless nights alone with the stars, viewing the misty river of the Milky Way flowing across the vast Andean sky.  A seed was planted then, one of wonder and mystery.  Standing at the edge of the universe, sensing its infinite scale, I could only feel humbled by my small existence and the vastness of the unknown.  The small seed planted in those moments sprouted and grew with each new experience and has pushed me down a path that has largely directed my photography.  To stand at the edge of the universe, to witness the unbelievable diversity of the Amazon rainforest, to feel the grandeur of the Great Wall of China, to view the intricately designed wing of a dragonfly - these experiences cultivated a deep-rooted sense of wonder than can only be satiated by exploring the world around me.

From the micro to the macro, I use my camera to listen to the world for what it has to tell.  Patience and perseverance help me capture moments – moments that will never be repeated.  From the fleeting life of a snowflake to the endless motion of the Milky Way through the skies, our dynamic world in its ever-changing form provides details at every turn that mirror the beauty and awesome scale of our created world.  This is what inspires me to photograph these moments.

Having grown up primarily in the jungles and Andes Mountains of Bolivia, South America, and now residing in Vermont, my experiences and perspectives are actively portrayed throughout my photography and artwork.  In our ever changing world, I hope you take a moment to enjoy the galleries here that reflect our dynamic and multi-faceted world.
